What is Project Soane?

Project Soane is a crowdsourced effort to virtually reconstruct Sir John Soane’s Bank of England using modern BIM technologies.

The first phase (July 2015 – December 2015) of Project Soane is a worldwide crowdsourced BIM modeling effort. Using Autodesk® Revit® software as the modelling platform and Autodesk®A360® as the crowdsourcing collaboration platform, participants will contribute to the virtual BIM reconstruction of Sir John Soane’s Bank of England. In this phase participants can be awarded prizes for their efforts in multiple categories.

The Second phase of Project Soane (December 2015 – May 2016) is a rendering competition based on the crowdsourced BIM model of The Bank of England. In this phase participants compete in multiple categories for prizes and recognition.
